Emergency response teams responded to over five hundred calls for help across the state, mainly for structural issues but also for collapsed vegetation and flooding.

Moist weather were expected to linger along large portions of eastern Queensland this coming days as a low-pressure trough continued to draw in moisture against the coast.
The following day was forecast to be the wettest day, with persistent storm activity predicted across different parts of both regions.
Safety Concern
Public health experts cautioned that there was an greater possibility of thunderstorm-induced asthma across the state's northern country region, especially given the ongoing climate situation.
